"We had consulted a different realtor at first to list our home. She complimented our house, but wanted to list it at prices similar to those of lesser quality homes, that were in our neighborhood. Phil saw the quality ("Wow Factors" as he phased it) in our home and made extra efforts to find comparable listings in other parts of town. Our immediate neighborhood had a number of distressed homes that were listed at or had sold at prices reflecting their condition. Phil put together an excellent listing presentation of our home and as a result, we had great response and many viewings. The end result was not only did we get a price we were comfortable with (about $15000 more than the first realtor wanted to start our offering) but we had an offer that we accepted in only about 6 weeks."
